A small town of 4,600, Chesterbrook offers over 7 miles of scenic trails and forested areas leading into historic Valley Forge National Park. This secluded community is quiet yet provides convenient access to major highways, rail and bus lines for a quick commute into Philadelphia.Tredyffrin Township, in which Chesterbrook is located, was recently named the “Place with the Best High School” in Philadelphia Magazine’s October 2006 article, “The 50 Best Places to Live in Philadelphia,” in which it was ranked number 6. Statistics such as population density, minutes to Center City, number of violent crimes, and average SAT scores were used to classify township rankings. Nearby Conestoga High School in Berwyn, the school to which the article refers, offers 26 of the 32 available AP classes and retains a 15:1 student-faculty ratio. The results are reflected in the school’s high SAT scores, making Conestoga High School one of the highest-ranking open-admission high schools in the country.
